The Broker - What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
